Shop Hexagon saves us about two days on most orders

Hexagon is the Innovation Partner of Oracle Red Bull Racing. For the past 18 years they’ve been using Hexagon technology, now they’re using our online shop too, Shop Hexagon.

We first came to use Shop Hexagon when we needed a quick replacement cable for a laser tracker. 

Before we started using Shop Hexagon, simply placing the order might take several days. We had to contact a sales representative to request a quote, wait for them to be provided, and then raise a purchase order. This method was slow, especially when we needed quick replacements for urgent situations like cable breakages. 

Our company policy is to always keep at least two of an item in stock. If one breaks, we’ve always got another, but when we have time sensitive projects and we start using the spare, there’s no margin for error.

Another great feature is the ability to access training information directly through Shop Hexagon. If we have a gap where we need to upskill some people, the ability to go to the shop and see when courses are on, where and when, instead of having to wait for information from Hexagon, has been really beneficial.

Shop Hexagon has reduced our waiting times and provided us with the flexibility to manage our orders and training needs independently. It makes it quicker and easier to get information and replacement parts.
